Vintage Phoenix Glass 1950s Brown Dancing Nudes Vase
Phoenix Glass Company was founded in 1880 in Pennsylvania. The firm made commercial products, such as lampshades, bottles, and glassware. Collectors today are interested in the "Sculptured Artware" made by the company from the 1930s until the mid-1950s. Some pieces of Phoenix glass are very similar to those made by the Consolidated Lamp and Glass Company. Phoenix made Reuben Blue, lavender, and yellow pieces.
Here we have an excellent example of a vintage Pheonix Glass Dancing Nudes vase. The women are showcased in white which are offset by the brown background. Great crisp mold. Great subject matter. This is a wonderful vase that is the perfect decorator piece.
Exceptional vase in that it is undamaged, no chips, no cracks, no scratches. Any non-perfections are from the firing/manufacturing process.
Authentic Phoenix Glass.
Measurements Height: 11 1/4", Base: 4 3/4", Rim: 4 1/2" ID K2850
