Vintage Phoenix Consolidated Art Glass Vase Dogwood Flowers 3 color custard

Description

A beautiful tri-color dogwood flower design flows around this vintage creamy custard Sculpted glass vase by the Phoenix Glass co. The large peach-colored raised flowers  have overlapping petals and green intertwined foliage. The body of the vase is a sem-translucent creamy soft yellow custard color.
Phoenix Glass Co. is located in Monaca, PA. Phoenix began production of art glass in 1932 when 45 to 50 molds from the Consolidated Glass Co. were moved to Phoenix and used until early 1936. This occurred because Consolidated Glass Co. had been forced to shut down due to the Great Depression.
The glass flower pattern design is attributed to Phoenix/Consolidated. The large 11 inch x 7 1/2 inch vase is heavy with a thick glass wall. The opening up top measures
3 1/4 inches in diameter.
