Vintage Dancing Nymphs Glass Plate
Description and Item Information
Up for sale is this vintage art glass plate. Please excuse any glare in the photos. This beautiful green plate has textured designs of dancers. The top side is smooth, and the underside is textured. This plate has a diameter of about 8 1/4 inches, and it stands about 3/4 inch tall. Unpacked, it weighs 15.1 ounces. This would be a lovely addition to a collection of vintage glass.
Identification
This unsigned plate is attributed to Consolidated. The design is known as "dancing nymphs" or "dance of the nudes." The exact age of this vintage piece is not known.
Condition
The plate looks good overall, with minor wear. The smooth, top side has some fine scratches and small scuffs. There is very light wear to the base, where the plate rests on the high points of the texture. There is very minor roughness to a few spots on the edges. There are some very minor mold flaws to the edges, where there are very fine straw marks; at first glance, these may look like fractures, but under magnification, they appear to be annealed, as made. 1. Payments
Taxes may be applicable. The correct shipping address must be included with payment. Payments must be received within three days of the end of the listing, unless prior arrangements have been made.
2. Shipping
Good packaging is included; double-boxing is not necessarily included. Framed art will not be shipped unframed. The seller usually ships on Mondays and Thursdays. The merchandise will normally be shipped on the seller's next shipping day after payment clears. The seller is not responsible for the transit time once the merchandise has been accepted by the shipping carrier.
Shipping includes delivery to a physical address via a method of the seller's choice. If the buyer prefers a different shipping method other than that chosen by the seller, or if delivery is to a post office box, additional shipping costs may be required. At the seller's discretion, a signature may be required for delivery.
Shipping quotes must be requested prior to all international bidding or buying. For international shipping, there may be parcel size restrictions or prohibitions on certain classes of merchandise. Customs forms will not be falsified.
