    Outstanding original African water container from Mauritania. Large relief sculptural hand carving. Possibly used for birthing ceremonies. Lid is removable, revealing a large basin. Entirely hand carved, with large African mask style heads to each side of the handle. Attractive piece for sculpture and storage. Exact age unknown, but known to be quite old. Sourced from Mauritania.
