    Description

    This incredible vessel is entirely hand carved wood, covered in relief carvings of crocodiles, with a large crocodile handle. The large oval lid is removable, revealing a large basin that can be used for storage. On one side of the container is a large handle topped with an African mask style head. One the other side is carved spout shape. Although exact age is unknown, it is known to be quite old. Sourced from Mauritania.
