  • Condition: Exceptionally fine Vaseline Glass Rare PHX Glass Co Venetian Thread Pattern Hand Blown 1880's not many made as process of swirling opaline glass with green vaseline glass was only able to be done by master glass blowing, shaping, designing humans! The Venetian Thread Line was their highest priced & best line/series ever made, we have owned this one for over 30 years, seen a "tankard" once, never another vase like this! No chips, cracks, cracks, damage, repairs, basically as perfect as the day it left the glass works! Very very rare & fine example. Museum quality! Measures: Tall 10.75 inches, with 10 inches of full depth, 3.25 inches across the flat perfect rim, the vase blows out from the 3.25 rim to a 4 inch part for the middle of vase, the tapers back to a 3.25 flat polished pontil bottom. Gorgeous, incredible detailed design, work. Feels fine even in your hands!!

    Exceptionally fine Vaseline Glass Rare Phoenix Glass Co Venetian Thread Pattern Hand Blown 1880's not many made as process of swirling opaline glass with green vaseline glass was only able to be done by master glass blowing, shaping, designing humans!
