    a detailed master  shona carver Verdite(semi-precious stone) bust of male with headdress. First generation artist who started carving at Nyarutsetso Center in 1965. 5.8 pounds 9" tall 4" wide.  Investment grade. There is no trick photography in the photographs; there is no photoshop software or any other used in taking the photographs taken at different angles and on closer examination the master carver added something to the eyes and the effect is extraordinary. Personally shocked when viewing photographs in listing.
    The real eye effect occurs in natural daylight and can be seen by the human eye; it is an optical illusion created by the artist. I have leaned, but have not verified that Nicholas Tandi suffered a stroke about a month after his brother James died in September, 2020 and he is partially paralyzed as a result.
