LPL 7700 or Saunders 670 CXL (USA) Triple Condensor Enlarger With Mint - Condition is "Used". Shipped with USPS Priority Mail.
The enlarger baseboard, column and head are in mint - condition. There are few signs of use. The baseboard looks new. The elevation and focus control movements are smooth with no backlash from normal use. The enlarger comes with the 35, 645; 6x6 and 6x7 negative carriers. Very clean El Nikkor 50/2.8 and a El Nikkor 105/5.6 are included with lens bubbles. The optics have no haze, separations, scratches or fungus. They will have small amount of dust.

Basically this is an exceptionally clean, easy to use enlarger bundled with all the carriers and enlarging lenses for the most popular formats. The 105 works great for 645 and 6x6 as you use the center of the optic which is the sweet spot. The neg carriers look new. Everything works as it should. The provided neg carriers and enlarging lenses allow the buyer to grow into any of the larger medium formats with the exception of 6x9.
The LPL 7700 enlarger is a professional enlarger at an affordable price and size. To advance up the professional ladder brings a big increase in cost, weight and size. Not worth it as this enlarger has it all.
About the enlarger:
LPL enlargers were distributed in the U.S. under the Saunders name and later by former competitor Omega. LPL's engineers derived a number of their solutions from earlier Durst enlargers, Durst (1936–2006) being the longtime European leader in enlargers. But wherever the "prior art" came from, this is clearly a refined design with a long engineering evolution behind it, cleverly and thoroughly thought through.
This was my personal medium format enlarger for 15 years. As a photo instructor I used a Durst 601, Omega B-22, and Beseler 23c. All things considered the LPL is the best. The enlarger is clearly built to an altogether higher standard than the American enlargers of the day. It is slick and very convenient to use, and technically very competent.
I recently sold my LPL 7700/670 dichro and discovered shipping is very expensive. Therefore this is a local pick up only at Norman, OK. The enlarger is currently disassembled, (baseboard, column, head) for storage.
