    Description

    RARE MCM Consolidated Art Glass Charlton Series Handpainted Caladium 24K Gold. Massive 10.5" in height and 8.5" at widest diameter, weighs over 5lbs. Hand painted with  24K gold on to mold blown opalescent glass, with large leaves, highlighted by hand enameling, encircling the vase. The top rim is grojnd and polished, with most of applied gold finish on same still present. No chips, flakes or cracks. Slight smuging extending just up 1/2" from base, production related.  This is the only one I have ever seen; fabulous find for the Consolidated Art Glass collectors!
