No chips, cracks, damage, repairs, flea bites etc..looks best in window sill facing east or west so you see sun coming & going through it! Reuben Haley, formerly vice president at United States Glass Company, set up his own independent design firm "Metal Products Company" (with rented space at Consolidated's offices in Coraopolis). He convinced Consolidated to enter the art glass market and Consolidated introduced a line of art glass called "Martele" in 1926. The art glass line was designed by Reuben Haley, who was inspired by Rene Lalique. Lalique's work was prominently displayed at the 1925 Paris "Exposition Internationale des Arts Decoratifes et Industriels Modernes" (the terms Art Deco and Art Moderne both came from the name of this exposition).Martele stood for "hand wrought" featured raised designs with floral & nude motif's...

    Unique, rare color. Beautiful, owned 35+ years. Estate sale from mid-70's Cincinnati Ohio, collector item. We are 2nd owners.
    6.5" tall, square-ish shape 5.5 wide front & back, 3.5" sides 5.5" depth inside of vase,rim is flat polished 4.25" by 2.75" going down to a base of 3.75 by 2.5"
    No chips, cracks, damage, repairs, flea bites etc..looks best in window sill facing east or west so you see sun coming & going through it!
