    Description

    This is a great old piece of Mason's Ironstone dating to the mid-19th century, c.1850. A footed, reticulated, hand painted and gilded centerpiece or fruit bowl decorated in vibrant colors of russet, green, yellow, gold and turquoise. The octagonal bowl has a flaring rim, with hand cutwork trimmed in gold,  wonderful Japonesque 'scenic window' designs centering, and an elaborate flower and lattice border enclosing.
    Measures 10.25" by 6". A good size.
    It is in near perfect condition, save for a small hairline at the edge in one place, which we have pictured, minor.
