Mason's, "Real Ironstone China" Hand Painted, Dessert Plates (4)

Description

This is a great old set of Mason's Ironstone dessert or salad plates. dating to the mid-19th century, c.1850. They are decorated in vibrant colors of russet, green, yellow, gold and turquoise.  Wonderful Japonesque 'scenic window' designs centering, and an elaborate flower and lattice border enclosing. They are 'clobbered' or hand painted over transfers. Beautifully done.
Each measures 8.75" diameter. Our offer is for four (4).
All are in near perfect condition, save for the expected crazing, mostly noted n the back.
