This is an outstanding ethnographic relic imported from the Yoruba tribe of Nigeria. It is a large lizard-shaped banner that has been intricately-beaded with hundreds of tiny beads in various colors. There are six lions in the center of the banner and geometric designs on the tail. The backing is made from thick muslin and cotton fiber.
