RARE Loetz Blue Oil Spot Iridescent Glass Twist Vase Sterling Silver Overlay Art Nouveau 1900. Klostermuhle, Aistria. 7 inches (17.8 cm)
This is in absolutely fantastic condition all parts of it are intact as far as the glass. All of the silver is present and in excellent shape except two small flower buds which over the last hundred years were removed see photo. otherwise all the silver overlay is intact and present. Around the rim of the vase the silver has a dot mark two but is hard to see and the thick overlay looks good. So does the glass. As these are one of a kind and hand blown they will be natural nuances and anomalies but this is a high standard company and only allows the best of its production to make it from the line to the public. There are a few records of the sale of this piece heritage auction house sold one with issues for more than I am asking now. The colors are breathtaking. This has enough of the bells and whistle's to be the center of a collection and is certainly a stand out piece.
