A carefully carved Ibeji alsoknown as Ibejí, Ibeyí, or Jimaguas in Latin America, is the name of an Orisha representing a pair of twins in the Yoruba religion of the Yoruba
people. If a twin dies in infancy, the family have a wooden figure carved to represent the dead twin. These carvings are called ere
