    Description

Consolidated Glass Florette Quilt Pink Satin Ca
    sed Biscuit Jar Silverplate Lid
    Price Reduced!!
The Florette pattern was made by the Consolidated Glass Company from the late 1890's. The cased satin items with silverplate lids are from the early period while the milk glass items are from the 1940 to the 1960's. The quilted biscuits jars with the glass quilted lids part of the later Regent and Con-Cora lines.
The silverplate lid on this jar is believed to be original since it is often seen with the jar. It is marked  Quadruple W m R New York 756. An iron cross and keystone symbol are on each side of the W m R. A very similar mark was used by Wm. A. Rogers Ltd from 1894-1929.
The jar and lid are in vintage used condition. The chipping on the top edge of the jar is common on these cased biscuit jars. The lid is excellent for its age. It is not perfect but is much better than most of the silverplate lids from this era. The lid has left some tarnish on the jar which I was unable to remove with a normal wash. Please look at the photos for the best description.
The jar is approximately 5" tall  without the lid base.
I rarely describe vintage china & glassware as perfect since it will acquire some use marks even from sitting on a shelf for most of its life. Vintage china & glassware may also have small bubbles, mold seams and marks that are inherent in the making of the item. I try to describe any issues that I consider more than average wear and certainly will point out any damage that I find.
Feel free to email me if you have any questions or would like additional pictures.
I have listings for other items. My eBay store is Glass Mountain Antiques.  Click on the above link to check out my other items. I am happy to reduce the shipping if you purchase more than one item and the items can be combined in one box.
Ask for a revised invoice before paying when buying multiple items.
I pack everything with great care.  I use recycled material when I can, but mainly have to buy bubble wrap and peanuts. Your shipping cost is shown in the auction listing before you bid and is based on the shipping rates from my home to yours as computed by the eBay shipping calculator.  All of my items are unique. I weigh each item and then add one or two pounds for the estimated weight of the box and packing material. The shipping calculator is usually very close
to the actual amount of the shipping.
I inspect items carefully for any damage and try to describe the auction items clearly and accurately.  I will gladly refund your bid price if an item differs significantly from my description.  Items must be returned within 30 days of receipt to receive a refund.  Please contact me if you have any problems with my auction item.
