    African Tribal Art Bamileke Beaded Figure 21 Inch Tall. Condition is "Used". Beadwork all over on wooden sculpure is unique only to Cameroon grasslands. They may be an indication of status. Have also read it may be a fertility statue. It is an art form that is highly personal in that no 2 pieces are alike. Bamileke is the largest ethnic group in Cameroon. Have seen others that read they are 70 to 80 years old. The beads completely cover the statue. Beads are red, black, white , green, and blue. I could not see any areas that were missing beads. It is quite dirty but afraid cleaning might harm it.
