The 3-pack of sterilized grain jars contain organic rye berries, gypsum, and coffee to optimize colonization and substrate results for mushroom cultivation. The upgraded jar lids, consisting of a self-healing injection port and 0.22 micron filter disk, eliminate virtually all chances for contamination based on jar and substrate design. All jars are pressure cooked at 15PSI for at least 90 minutes to ensure sterilization of all grains. The addition of gypsum is to decrease clumping of grains and alter the pH level of the grains. The coffee also creates a favorable pH -level for mycelium to grow and thrive.
